NMC Horizon Report on Higher Education 2013

The NMC Horizon Report provides an unbiased source of information to help education leaders, policy makers, and academics easily understand the key emerging technologies, and when they are likely to enter mainstream use and impact on learning, teaching, and creative inquiry in higher education.

The 2013 Higher Education report identifies the following technologies will impact on HE in the next half-decade:

Finalising the Workshop

Over the past few days we have been fitting face-to-face meetings and email consultations into what has proved to be a demanding week for most of us.  However, the Conference takes place tomorrow, so we've run the advance technology checks, printed off our handouts and updated our slides.

Enhancing Teaching and Learning with Internet Services

Martin Hamilton has recently published a draft guide to Enhancing Teaching and Learning with Internet Services for Loughborough University.  Martin also links to a policy document developed at Loughborough last year on BYOD @ Lboro (Bring Your Own Device at Loughborough) which may be helpful for those of us grasping with the issues this raises.

For DMU staff and students, the CELT Team have already produced guidance on DMU Core Learning Technologies  and Using non-DMU technologies.
